I like the texture of sweet potatoes but they can be quite – well – sweet. I give this mash a little twist with some lemon juice, smashed garlic and a little chopped arugula. Try it, it’s very nice! As I mentioned before, risotti (risottos? Italian anyone??) are primadonne (primadonnas?), they need your full attention. At least for 20 minutes. Although that may not sound very appealing to some people, I can assure you that the results usually justify every bit of the effort. The lamb shanks require a cooking time of about 2-3 hours, but [...] This afternoon I walked into our local supermarket to buy a piece of fish and a salad. I didn’t even make it to the seafood counter. When I saw these beautiful lambchops in the meat department it was all over. Change of plans. Picked up some small potatoes, arugula and mint as well. Dinner was delicious! |
