Found some very nice looking veal cutlets at the supermarket today. This Italian classic gets a nice twist when mixing finely chopped sage and lemon zest into the breadcrumbs. The key to this dish is that the meat needs to be cut (or pounded) very thin.

This afternoon I walked into our local supermarket to buy a piece of fish and a salad. I didn’t even make it to the seafood counter. When I saw these beautiful lambchops in the meat department it was all over. Change of plans. Picked up some small potatoes, arugula and mint as well. Dinner was delicious!
